Root canal treatments are used to remove infected, inflamed or dead pulp from a tooth. The goal is to save the tooth, rather than extract it.
After having a root canal treatment, your tooth may need some time to heal. Some patients experience pain for months or years after the procedure, especially if the initial treatment isn't done properly. When this happens, an endodontic retreatment may be necessary.
We aim to always provide the best possible care. That's why our clinic has a microscope that allows your dentist to carefully examine your root canals. The microscope's intense light and magnification power makes it easier to analyze the inside of your teeth. Our microscope can also detect the location of additional or perforated canals.
